To get those beautiful pearl eyes just keep in mind these super simple tips,
1. Pluck The Eyebrows:
Pluck your eyebrows at least a day before the wedding day. Rub an ice cube around the brows to avoid redness and rashes.
Never use anything black to fill in the brows. Use a brown or taupe shade to fill up the brows. The best way to get natural looking brows is to use eye-shadows and pencils.
Want to make your lashes appear fuller?
Just apply some powder on the lashes with your eyes closed and then apply mascara, or else add an eyelash primer just before applying the mascara.
Who doesn’t want full, long, hypnotic lashes? Fake lashes can come in handy. Use them only if you are comfortable wearing them. Use dark-colored lash glue so that it looks naturally attractive.
Got puffy eyes? Use chamomile tea bags over the eyes to make them look less puffy. Using normal tea bags may stain your skin.
Good sleep is very essential for fresh beautiful eyes. The more you sleep, the more time your body gets to repair itself. Sleep for at least seven hours a day and take enough rest during your wedding days(though you’re going to be super busy) to keep those under eye circles away.
If you wear contacts, make sure you wear them before makeup because there are pretty good chances of eyes watering. It would possibly ruin the effort you took to apply the makeup.
You were going to apply the eyeliner but make sure you do it while looking down into the mirror. It will give you a better grip and help you draw perfect lines.
Use a good waterproof mascara and make sure it is new or less than three months old. Old mascaras that have been exposed to air may clot and could get very flaky.
Once the eye makeup is done, keeping it in place is important. To keep your eye makeup intact, sweep a bit of translucent powder over it and under the eyes. This will greatly prevent meltdowns and make it crease-proof.
11. Deep Conditioning
Your hair is as important as your makeup. To ensure your hair looks perfect throughout the wedding, schedule a deep conditioning hair mask twice/ thrice in the month of your wedding. This would keep your hair glossy and fresh.
Use good quality hair sprays so that your hair stays in place and doesn’t look frizzy without damaging them.
Apply a lip liner first and then a lipstick, or apply a few layers of the lipstick with a light hand to make it stay longer.
Choosing a perfect lip liner is important as it gives the details to your lips. You will be best off with a lip liner that matches your lipstick.
Choose a long-wearing lipstick for the D-day. You don’t want to be re-applying it every hour. The best option would be smudge proof and waterproof.
Here’s a way to make them appear fuller and thicker. Take a skin-colored lip liner and extend the natural lip line just a bit. Remember, less is more. So do not overdo it.
To make your lips look full, pat a little bit of shimmer to the center of the lower lip. This would create an illusion of a fuller lip.
Use a lip balm every time you feel your lips are dry. Never lick or bite your lips. This would dry your lips and make them chapped and flaky.
To keep your lipstick/lip color from staining the areas near the lips, put a finger in your mouth and close your lips. Pull out the finger while your mouth is closed, this would remove all excess lip color.
Keep it simple or keep it glamorous whichever suits you the best! Hope this blog helps you on your big day!
